The Quad City Bass Fisherman's Club, is based in Davenport, Iowa along the banks of the Mississippi River, was formed in 1963 making it one of the oldest know bass in the country. The club currently boast a membership of over 200 men and women. We annually have 7 club closed tournaments, 1 open tournament, and 2 his/her tournaments. The club's motto is "Leave Some For Seed" represents the emphasis placed on catch and release at every club tournament. Monthly meetings are held on the last Monday of the month, and the public is invited to attend.

Albany is Sunday August 3rd, Sign-up will be at the ramp from 4:30 – 5:00. The weigh-in will be at 2:00. Don’t forget if your partner isn’t signed up at the June meeting he isn’t eligible to fish.
Tug Info
The Tug is Saturday July 19 at Albany. You can enter early by sending your $100 entry to Ron. The entry is on the website. The entry will also be posted on our Facebook page this week. I need to have it by the end of the day on Wednesday the 16th to be in the draw. Sign up at the ramp will be 4:15-5:00 on Saturday. Entries at the ramp will be assigned a number in the order they sign up. The weigh-in is at 2:00.
We have 3 sponsors for July
1.) K&K Hardware. You can’t think of fishing without saying K&K. That’s probably enough said but don’t forget to go there for all your other needs also. Nobody treats us fishermen and women like Matt does.
2.) QC Coverage / Barry Waldron. Barry is an independent agent and will do his best to get you the best rates. Check with Barry before you call around.
3.) DuVall Financial Group / John Ahlers. If you are setting up a retirement fund or want to transfer your existing fund to a better option call John. He is 110 percent invested in doing the best he can to set you up to live the good life after retirement.

1.) Classic qualifying for tournaments remains the same. One partner must have 3 fished. The other partner must have at least 2. If you only two the extra amount is changed from $20 to $50.
2.) Culling balls with safety pin type clips are no longer allowed. If you bring a fish to the scale with the puncture type pin you will be given a warning. The second time will result in a 1-pound penalty.
3.) This year we will redraw the blast off position after the first day weigh in. We will record the 2nd day order and then turn in the chips to Fish Committee Chairman for morning pick up.
Per club rules, in order to fish a tournament, you must be a paid-up member at the time of the monthly meeting prior to the tournament that you wish to fish. Annual membership is only a mere $25 and can be purchased at any monthly membership meeting.
The Quad City Bass Club with a membership of over 200 individuals has sponsorship opportunities available for any business or individual looking to expand their advertising at a relatively cheap rate. For a mere$50 yearly, your business card sized ad will be placed in the monthly newsletter which is sent to each and every member and sponsor. For $125 annually your ad will be place in the monthly newsletter AND 3 gift cards will be given away in your name to a lucky contestant at the club sponsored tournament. Sponsorship forms can be downloaded from the link located in the folder on the website.
