About Us
WELCOME TO OUR 61TH YEAR.
The Quad City Bass Fisherman's Club, based in Davenport, Iowa along the banks of the Mississippi River, was formed in 1963 making it one of the oldest known bass fishing clubs in the country. The club currently boasts a membership of over 200 men and women. We annually have 7 club closed tournaments, 1 open tournament, and 2 his/her outings. The club motto "Leave Some For Seed" represents the emphasis placed on catch and release at every club tournament. Monthly meetings are held on the last Monday of the month and the public is invited to attend.
MONTHLY NEWS LETTER.
The Quad City Bass club is moving to email for the monthly newsletter. Please email the club or text Ron 563-340-3204 your email address. Or when you sign up for 2024, put your email on the sign up form. Sometime 1st quarter 2024 we will stop sending out the newsletter in the mail.
MEMBERSHIP MEETING FOR AUGUST
Date: September 30th
Time: 7:00 pm
Place: Leisure Lanes (2802 W. 73rd. St. Davenport Iowa)
Guest speaker: None for this month. We do have a Guest Speaker from the Corp of Engineers for the October meeting.

April 21st Big Slough.
May 18th & 19th Lansing.
June 8th & 9th Praire Du Chein.
June 22nd Lansing His & Hers.
September 29th Albany.
August 3rd Albany "The Tug".
August 17th & 18th Stoddard.
September 7th & 8th Cassville.
September 21st Lansing His & Hers.
October 12th & 13th Lansing Classic. (You have to be qualified to fish)
All the permits have been approved by Iowa. Waiting on Wisconsin and Illinois approvals.
CASCADE INFO
Cassville is Sept. 7-8. Sign up will be 5:00-5:30 at the ramp. Weigh in is 3:00 on Saturday and 1:00 on Sunday. Early signup can be taken care of at the Eagles Roost between 5 and 6:00 PM.

Culligan Water is a sponsor for all your bottled water or soft water needs contact Culligan. See their ad on the mailer and give them a call.
The other sponsor is QC Coverage/ Barry Waldron in Bettendorf. Barry is an independent agent and will look at different companies to get your best rate.

ALBANY MAKE UP INFO
Albany is September 29. Sign up will be at the ramp from 5:30-6:00 with a 3:00 weigh in.
Albany has 3 Sponsors. They are: One really doesn’t need much said about it except it’s K&K. It’s the best place around to go for all your fishing needs and about anything else you need for your home or business.
We also have DuVall Financial Group / John Ahlers. If you are wanting to start a retirement investment or to switch over for a better fund with no monthly or annual fees call John for an appointment. John can also set you up with life insurance or answer your questions on any of these topics.
Our third one is a friend of fishing and donates to all the local clubs and open tournaments. It is Rick and Amber Wages and Wages Transportation. Rick is on the road when he isn’t practicing for a tournament.

SPECIAL NOTICE ON A COUPLE OF RULE CHANGES
1.) Classic qualifying for tournaments remain the same. One partner must have 3 fished. The other partner must have at least 2. If you only have two the extra amount is changed from $20 to $50.
2.) Culling balls with safety pin type clips are no longer allowed. If you bring a fish to the scale with the puncture type pin you will be given a warning. The second time will result in a 1 pound penalty.
MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS
Per club rules, in order to fish a tournament, you must be a paid-up member at the time of the monthly meeting prior to the tournament that you wish to fish. Annual membership is only a mere $25 and can be purchased at any monthly membership meeting.
CLUB SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
The Quad City Bass Club with a membership of over 200 individuals has sponsorship opportunities available for any business or individual looking to expand their advertising at a relatively cheap rate. For the mere sum of $50 yearly, your business card sized ad will be placed on our monthly newsletter which is sent to each and every member and sponsor. For $125 annually your ad will be placed in the monthly newsletter AND a fishing rod will be given away in your name to a lucky contestant at a club sponsored tournament.
