WELCOME TO OUR 63RD YEAR

The Quad City Bass Fisherman's Club, is based in Davenport, Iowa along the banks of the Mississippi River, was formed in 1963 making it one of the oldest know bass in the country. The club currently boast a membership of over 200 men and women. We annually have 7 club closed tournaments, 1 open tournament, and 2 his/her tournaments. The club's motto is "Leave Some For Seed" represents the emphasis placed on catch and release at every club tournament. Monthly meetings are held on the last Monday of the month, and the public is invited to attend.

NEXT MEMBERSHIP MEETING SPEAKER

Ryan Coon will be at the March meeting. He has started a small business with hats. He is going to show what he has and also have some to sell.

BIG SLOUGH INFORMATION

Sign up will be at the ramp from 4:30-5:00 on Sunday April 26. The meeting is at 5:00. The take-off will be from the main channel like in the last couple of years. The weigh in is at 3:00.

April 26- Sunday Big Slough - Pending.  

May 16-17 Lansing - Approved  

June 6-7 Prairie - Pending  

June 20- Lansing H/H - Approved  

June 27. – Cassville 4 Person - Pending  

July 12- Sunday – Albany – Approved  

July 18- The Tug Open Albany - Approved  

August 15-16 – Stoddard Pending  

Sept. 12-13- Cassville- Pending  

Sept. 19- Lansing H/H – Approved  

Oct. 3-4- Lansing – Approved  

The Cassville 4 Person is something new to be tried. It will be two 2 boat teams with total weight deciding the winner. More details will come later. This is an Open and a non-points tournament.   Tournaments out of Iowa ramps have been approved. All others are pending DNR approvals. 


APRIL SPONSORS

  

1.) Grace Marine is our first sponsor this month. Now is the time to beat the rush to get your boats in for service. They have expert mechanics to take care of you. You can also look at new boats. They sell Skeeter, Lund, and now also sell Falcon. Now is the time to get that new boat and get it broke in. 

  

2.) Four Winds is our 2nd sponsor this month. See them for all your truck accessories needs. Get that new tonneau cover or topper to keep your stuff safe while you’re fishing. They also sell running boards, window wind guards and about any other thing you might need. Give them a call.

RULE CHANGES FOR 2026

1.) The Sunday take off for 2-day tournaments will go back to reverse order from Saturday. 

2.) The H/H, Tug, and the 4 Man are open tournaments and will also count as a qualifier for the Classic. There will be money from each of those tournaments added to the Classic payoff. 

3.) It remains at 3 tournaments fished to qualify for the Classic, but of those 3 you must fish at least one regular points tournament and if you use opens to qualify you must also be a paid member to fish the Classic. 

MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS

Per club rules, in order to fish a tournament, you must be a paid-up member at the time of the monthly meeting prior to the tournament that you wish to fish. Annual membership is only a mere $25 and can be purchased at any monthly membership meeting.

CLUB SPONSORSHIP OPPERTUNITIES

The Quad City Bass Club with a membership of over 200 individuals has sponsorship opportunities available for any business or individual looking to expand their advertising at a relatively cheap rate. For a mere$50 yearly, your business card sized ad will be placed in the monthly newsletter which is sent to each and every member and sponsor. For $125 annually your ad will be place in the monthly newsletter AND 3 gift cards will be given away in your name to a lucky contestant at the club sponsored tournament. Sponsorship forms can be downloaded from the link located in the folder on the website.
