The Quad City Bass Fisherman's Club, is based in Davenport, Iowa along the banks of the Mississippi River, was formed in 1963 making it one of the oldest know bass in the country. The club currently boast a membership of over 200 men and women. We annually have 7 club closed tournaments, 1 open tournament, and 2 his/her tournaments. The club's motto is "Leave Some For Seed" represents the emphasis placed on catch and release at every club tournament. Monthly meetings are held on the last Monday of the month, and the public is invited to attend.

Place: Leisure Lanes (2802 W. 73rd Street, Davenport, Iowa)
Lansing is Oct. 18-19. Sign up will be at the ramp from 5:30-6:00. Meeting and drawing to follow. Weigh in is 3:00 on Saturday and 1:00 on Sunday. The bridge is scheduled to be closed Oct. 15. You will still need to be at the ramp for sign up and meeting. If you boat from a different ramp be sure to be on time.

The Cassville 4 Person is something new to be tried. It will be two 2 boat teams with total weight deciding the winner. More details will come later. This is an Open and a non-points tournament. Tournaments out of Iowa ramps have been approved. All others are pending DNR approvals.
1.) Classic qualifying for tournaments remains the same. One partner must have 3 fished. The other partner must have at least 2. If you only two the extra amount is changed from $20 to $50.
2.) Culling balls with safety pin type clips are no longer allowed. If you bring a fish to the scale with the puncture type pin you will be given a warning. The second time will result in a 1-pound penalty.
3.) This year we will redraw the blast off position after the first day weigh in. We will record the 2nd day order and then turn in the chips to Fish Committee Chairman for morning pick up.
Per club rules, in order to fish a tournament, you must be a paid-up member at the time of the monthly meeting prior to the tournament that you wish to fish. Annual membership is only a mere $25 and can be purchased at any monthly membership meeting.
The Quad City Bass Club with a membership of over 200 individuals has sponsorship opportunities available for any business or individual looking to expand their advertising at a relatively cheap rate. For a mere$50 yearly, your business card sized ad will be placed in the monthly newsletter which is sent to each and every member and sponsor. For $125 annually your ad will be place in the monthly newsletter AND 3 gift cards will be given away in your name to a lucky contestant at the club sponsored tournament.
